Hi,

I grew up in Man, WV and live in Charleston, SC now. If you go to www.nilmdts.org (http://www.nilmdts.org) and click on find a photographer, the last time I checked WV, there was a photographer in Huntington. I have been trying to recruit some of my hometown friends/photographers but not having much luck.

I am not sure what the best way for a parent/member is to recruit photographers. I would contact HQ or Cheryl and ask. For photographers we have post cards we can purchase to send out to other photographers or a display to set up at an event. There may also be a media kit you could get to place the information in your local paper/media/radio station.
I think just word of mouth, getting information about the org. out there is the first step.

For Photographer recruitment:
Check your local listings in your area phone book, or look online for photographers and make a list of addresses.

We have a photographer recruitment letter that you may send along with our brochures. If you want to include a personal testimonial letter, that can be a powerful tool.

Refer your potential photographers to the website. This is where they may sign up to start their application process.

Hi,
I'm the ac for Huntington, WV and would be glad to answer any questions you may have. It looks like there is an affiliate photographer in the Charleston area. Perhaps you could contact them, see if they've contacted CAMC or any other hospital to introduce NILMDTS and see if you could work with them to recruit other area photographers. Maybe you could let them know what you'd like to do (get more photogs to help!) and maybe it would give them the encouragement to get the ball rolling. I'd be glad to help if needed, but I'm an hour away. :(

I haven't sent in my paperwork yet, because I just now got the ink cartridge to print it (it kept selling out go figure..). I know they are affiliated with some hospitals right now (from just asking around). But once I get my paperwork sent (this week) I'll start calling etc. Thanks I would love help!
