We have an ultrasound in two and a half hours and we may be able to find out the sex! I am completley freaking out! I do not know how I am going to react and I have no clue what I am having!

Hello! Ok so I was a nervous wreck before my appt this morning but it is finally over and I feel so much better! So as far as the u/s they did not feel confident enough to tell us the sex, the baby would not calm down so it was hard to get a good look. They also said they don't like to tell this early because it is hard to be certain. However my husband and I were both pretty sure we saw girl parts but we won't know until our next appt. As far as everything else the baby and placenta look great and normal. I finally got the game plan I have so desperatley been wanting, and here it is...
From now on I will see my midwife like I would for any normal pregnancy. I will also see the high risk doctor every 3-4 weeks for an ultra sound to monitor the baby, blood flow and the health of the placenta(b/c the clotting can cause placenta issues.)
Starting at 28 weeks I will see the high risk doctor once a week for an ultrasound and I will see my midwife/regular OB for nonstress tests twice a week. So starting at 28 weeks I will have 3 appts a week until delivery.
As far as delivery they would like me to go until 38 weeks but if they start to see problems with the placenta or blood flow they will take the baby at that point instead.
We were a little bummed that we could not find out the sex but we are so relieved and grateful that I will be monitored so closely! The high risk doctor was great and was confident that we will bring a happy healthy baby into this world at the end of this pregnancy! Sorry this is so long and thank you for all the prayers!

I'm so glad they set out a game plan for you! And it sounds like they will be very attentive. You'll be really busy after week 28, but it will be worth it to know your little punkin is safe and sound! Also, it sounds like you wont have to wait long until your next US, so you can tell the sex for sure! Very happy for you!
