I found out today that I am pregnant. I am soo worriedm mixed with joy. I called my doctor today and the receptionest told me that i had to have a blood test first,,,,which i did, and then told me that i had to wate untill i was 12 weeks. I told her to leave a message for my doctor and she will squeeze me in due to my issues. Their still is that thought that i do not want to continue care at Innovis, becuse of their NICU, not that anything will happen again. The problem is I think my doctor is great,,the Nicu is my problem.

Girl I feel your pain on the Nicu part thats why I am going to the next town from where I had him last time. They have the best Nicu around us. Well you know I will be praying for you through it all. If you can control the worrying you will be alright! Mine comes in phases still. Good luck!

So happy to hear your news. You definitely have my prayers as you join the ranks of those of us expecting again. How far along are you?
Even if you think your doc is great, maybe you could explain to him or her your fears about the NicU and ask if he could refer you to a great doc that practices out of another hospital. If he understands what you went through I can't imagine him refusing. Perhaps it would be worth it to go on the hunt for a new OB for your peace of mind leading up to the delivery. My husband's insurance changed and my new doc isn't in network and we're just eating the significant extra cost because I feel like I need him for my peace of mind. Take care of yourself and baby first - if a change in hospital is something you need to do to keep your pregnancy stress free, then do what feels right!

My ob doc is going to deliver at the other hospital because i requested it and he does do surgeries there to. Its in Indiana and not kentucky this time. He tries to tickle my stomach everytime hes sees me in the office!! Hes crazy but he delivered me so i trust him and he has delivered all my children alive and healthy its just the others hands that hurt them.

Do you have any feelings on what the gender is? I wanted a girl so bad my body told me it was a girl had all the same problems i had when i had my daughter. And now that i know its a boy my body is doing the boy thing now.

I really would like another girl, but I will be tickeled pink either way. It is still early to be getting the symptoms that i had with both my girls. With Jillian,I was sick non stop from 9 weeks to six months. With Sophia I had a little nausia and a lot of migranes that started around 12 weeks/. I am just praying and waiting for that 12 weeks to hit. I am worried that I might miscarry something that i want soo much. I had one before i had my first daughter Jillian. That was due to being on alot of Bi polar meds before i found out i was pregnant,,,,,they were ones not supposed to be taken during pregnancy.
