Hi Lacey~
We would be honored to have you join as a Parent Coordinator for the Fargo area. Looking at the list of people available in your area, I only see two. If I'm not mistaken, Fargo is a rather large city? Not to mention the other areas around Fargo.
If you would like to start an application, you can either email your information to me, or register on the main website. Go to the "Find a Photographer" link; then "Photographer" (at the top) and follow the steps there. Please make sure you list Hospitals you wish to work with in the section "Area(s) of Service" rather than regions. If you have any questions, please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks so much for offering to step up as a partent coordinator! I just got back from Denver when I got your email to me!

And yes, Tammy, Fargo is DEFINATELY big enough that we need many more photographers. Recently a number didn't turn in their VSA's and a couple have decided to step aside, so a couple weeks ago we had about 5 listed and now only the two of us. I will be conducting training in the very near future for photographers, so for any Fargoan's reading this please feel free to contact me at brandi @ sprayphotography . com (no spaces!)

Is there an area coordinator for the photographers in your area? Thats a good place to start too.

If there isn't someone close to you, you may be able to get one of the new certified trainers/candidates to come to your state to do a training which would help recruit photographers for your area as well. Then hopefully around the same time you may be able to work with local hospital(s) to educate the staff so once photographers are available the program can get kicked off really well.

There will also be online training available for photographers eventually (not certain on dates), so perhaps if you can't get a trainer to come, you might be able to help facilitate/recruit local photographers to complete the online training as well. I feel you've made a great first step in checking here and hopefully someone near you will catch this thread and be able to help you out more!

go to the main website and do a photographer search for your area. The names that show up in red are your area coordinators.

So how would I do I get involved if there isn't an area coordinator around my area? Is there something I need to do?
