Its Exactly What We Wanted!!!!!

So we just found out yesterday we are having daughter number 2 and we are so happy about it! This daughter(Audriana) can in no way replace Alexis! We did not in anyway want another daughter as a replacement I just still desperatley wanted to raise a daughter! My hubby also is the type of daddy that wants a daddy's girl instead of the kind of daddy that wants a little buddy! It was very diffucult because I remember being in that same place hearing that Alexis was a girl and I remember how over the moon I was about it but for the first time in this pregnancy I am trying to not let my grief and longing for Alexis to affect my happiness for Audriana!

I think we all know that no matter how many babies we have, it could not replace the one we have lost. I am happy that you have your precious daughter on the way!!

Congratulations! How wonderful. I've often thought is would be wonderful to have all little girls - I so desperately wanted a boy when I had my first, Priya, but she has been such a joy to raise. Then Kavya was just a little miracle. Now I think it would be nice to have another sweet little girl, but everyone seems to think this is a boy. I'm so happy that you got what you prayed for!
