Ok I told you all I was going to name my new son Nathan Layne Wolfe. I need some help on this one. I just figured out he is a ball of craziness when I eat a reese cup. He won't stop moving and kicking. So I was Thinking of changing the name to Nathan Reese Wolfe. But you wouldn't say it the same way as Reese cups. I can't figure out the spelling for that one but I would love to nickname him reese cup of how he acts when I eat one. Its so funny!!

Adorable name!! I am sure the name will fit him when he arrives. You know what they say also, whatever you crave when you are pregnant is usually something that child will like too. So one day you will be able to enjoy a Reese's together. BTW my oldest son's name is Laine too small world huh!!!

Love it! Great idea - and Reese (pronounced rees nont reesee?) sounds sophisticated, and it would be a reminder of your beautiful pregnancy!

Wow, I didn't know that there are so many boy's named Reese out there. I only know of one Reese and she is a girl. But I guess that name could be a boy or girl name. Anyway, I like the idea of you naming his middle name that. Very cute and appropriate!!! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

what about spelling it Rhys... I think that is the Gaelic version -

Rhys is a surname or (usually male) given name that translates to the word Ardour, meaning Eagerness, Love and Passion. It also exists in the Anglicised forms Rice, Rees, Reese and Reece.

You could also spell it Reace, Riece, Reice, or Rease. Start a new trend...

I like Nathan Rease, with the a's...Just my 2cents...

Just keep in mind that when you spell a name differently, that child now will go through the rest of their lives always having to explain how their name is spelled. While my name is not necessarily spelled different, but, the common spelling on mine is Curt. One does get tired, after awhile, to the constant corrections. Just food for thought.

Vicki

Curt? But your name doesn't even in in a 'T' . . . hmmm . . .

Kirk Kief

But, that's the rub. Most people spell it Curt, and I have to correct them to Kirk.
In this particular thread, the popular spelling of Reese is 'Reese'. If it were spelled differently, say to 'Rease', then that child will, for the rest of their life, will be correcting people as to the correct spelling of their name.
Actually, even your name. The popular spelling is Vicky, how often are you needing to correct people.

Marcus Momma

my name is spelled different and I always have to correct people its spelled shawnna instead of shawna or shauna the most common ways.
