Help with touch up on photos...?

Hello there -

I am writing to ask if anybody is able to offer advice on how I could touch up my son's photos... His face does bear some of the trauma of his early birth and I am hoping to put together a collage of the few photos that I have of him. Although, I think he looks perfect, my husband thinks we should try to have them touched up a bit so they aren't so raw looking. Please let me know if there are any programs or advice that I could try because I have tried Photoshop and Picnik but neither seemed to work for me... I also tried changing them to black/white and sepia but I still did not get it right. A lady I have recently been talking about loss with suggested perhaps I try here to see if anybody could help me. I hope so.

I'm sure that there is a photographer on the forum that will be more than happy to help you! I had NILMDTS photos taken, but I had 2 volunteer to touch up some of my color photos to remove discoloration and they look great. You should hear from someone pretty quickly!

the photographers on here touched up some of my pics and that looked absolutly perfect I don't think you could find a better group to ask or have it done by.

A lot of the photographers on here could help you tremendously. I have two sisters too that do touch up on pictures, one of them did the touch ups on my photos, and put this collage together of my Emma (to the right) She did a great job. So if you need help just let me know and I can put you in contact with her.

I will be more than happy to ask if they would like to do it. Who would they need to contact if that is the case? My sister did excellent work on Emma's pictures. She also put together some collages for me. So all of my pictures I received continue to be memories for me which is wonderful.
