Hello--
This is only my second posting, so I"m not really good on this site yet. I haven't submitted a photo yet as I'm scared I'll do it wrong.
My husband and I took tons of photos on our digital camera as well as the photos taken by the NILMDTS photographer. Riley looks beautiful, however I would like to do some lightening due to skin discoloration. I have photoshop and it works ok, but I didn't know if there was a better way.
Thank you for your help
Jennifer
Photoshop works wonderfully for this task and there are tons of great techniques to help with retouching! If graphic design is not your forte, you might try asking some of our skilled volunteers to help!
(I apologize if this message is disjointed,I'm typing one-handed while my toddler plays nursing gymnastics in my lap).

Hey Jennifer,
I'd be happy to help you out with a retouched image. If you are comfortable with it, you can email me and I'll send it back asap.

Hi Jennifer,
I'd be glad to edit for you as well...I live in photoshop it seems.
If you want, just send a picture (thephotographer@aperfectpicture.net) and I will work with it as quickly as possible.

If you'd like for us to do some retouching for you, I'd recommend to do it with this method. We have an army of folks, photographers and retouchers, that want to help. To keep everything organized, if you want retouching done, then notify Jennifer Brown, jennifer.brown@nilmdts.org, and she'll help to make arrangements for you to upload your images to a special storage area. Then, the folks that want to help will be able to have access to them.
Now, if you are a photographer or retoucher that wnat to help, be sure to watch the 'Call on Me' room in the photographer's area.

Jennifer,
I just want to make sure I understand your request... do you want some tutorial help on how to use your photoshop to retouch your images? Or, would you like someone to retouch the images for you?
As you can see, there are plenty of retouchers that are more than willing to help, whether you want assistance in retouching them yourself or want someone to do it for you. :)

Thanks everyone for your feedback and offers. I"m going to try to do some of the photos myself as a special project, but if it doesn't work out I may take up someones offer to help with retouching his photos.
