Just asking for some prayers. My 4 year old daughter had to go into surgery and under anesthesia for the first time this morning. She had an infection in her mouth that made her face swell up and not sure if its what damaged her teeth or not. So she had to have one pulled and all the back ones capped. Thank God they fall out anyway. I am scared someone will make fun of her with them. I almost started crying when she came out. My hubby held her and she was sound asleep except for when she would open her eyes for a few mins with huge wild eyes. I felt so sorry for her. But she wasn't scared. I believe she has still got anesthesia in her because she is still sleeping off and on. Her lil face was so swollen. And then I ended up almost passing out after she came out due to having to get up at 4:30am to make it there and not having nothing to eat. I felt it coming so I went outside and let the cold air hit me. Which probably wasn't too smart cause my eyes wouldn't hardly stay open and my legs were shaking. Gotta eat with this baby as soon as I get up. My daughter keeps crying it hurts but they gave me meds for her but she cried not to take them. And I hate making her cry even though I know it helps. I have to bribe her. I just hope she gets better soon. I am not used to seeing her laying around all day!

Please send me a PM with your address & her name so I can send her a card. It's always hard to watch your child in pain.
Sending prayers & hugs

Thanks girls! ITs hard to see her like this. She woke up again a lil while ago and it looks like someone punched her in both eyes. Shes not fighting me on the meds anymore which calms me down so I don't feel like a bad mom.

Poor little girl! I had many many surgeries growing up (around 8) so I know how she feels. Give her a hug, and I'll be keeping her in my prayers.

Having 2, 4 year olds around, I could not imagine having to deal with a painful surgery recuperation`~ Though both have had their share of minor surgeries. We will be thinking of you and your daughter.

Of course, Shawnna. What a frightening experience for such a young girl. Priya is 3 and I can't imagine seeing her go through that!
