Maddux:
I would like to introduce you to Maddux Achilles Haggard. At the time of this session, we could have not imagined that this would be the beginning of NILMDTS.
Maddux was born February 4, 2005. On February 10, 2005 our studio received a phone call from Maddux’ father, he asked us if we would consider coming up to Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver to photograph his son. Earlier that day Cheryl and Mike had made the difficult decision to remove Maddux from life support.
This was one of the hardest sessions I have every created. Tears flowed as we shared the last precious moments with the Haggard family. Little Maddux has changed so many people’s lives. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Cheryl has become such a part of my life and I consider her a true friend.
