We have our first level 2 ultrasound tomorrow at 16 weeks. Hopefully they will be able to see everything they need to see to let us know that this baby is healthy and does not have the same condition Justin did. Please pray that we would receive good news and that the results would be conclusive so that we don't have to wait another month to find out. Justin's problems were visible at 18 weeks so hopefully 16 weeks allows them to see what they need to.
Thanks!!

My thoughts and prayers will be with you Jayme. They were able to tell it was a boy at our 16 week plus confirm he had at least one functioning kidney and the correct amount of fluid. It was so different to experience the "everythings normal" ultrasound. I hope that you get that experience too!! Try to relax and don't forget to breathe!

Take care!

You are in my prayers, of course! I also have my first "big" US scan this week and I'm so scared. I don't know if I'll be able to look until they tell me it's OK. I feel baby move often, but I need to see that amnio fluid, and know that there's nothing wrong that is apparent.

I hope you were able to sleep. Please let us know how it goes. Hugs,

Beth

Thank you so much for your prayers. The baby is just fine! They will do another scan at 20 weeks just to see things more clearly but everything checked out today! What a relief.

Beth I hope that your US goes well this week. I am glad that you are feeling the baby move a lot and I hope that your scan provides nothing but reassurance!
