Today you would be 28 years old, there is not a day that goes by that mommy and daddy don't think of you, the magnificent woman you would have been. JESUS give our Crystal a hug for us and tell her how much we love her, as only YOU can.

Thank you all so much, it was like a little birthday party, when I came to read all the posts. This year seemed especally hard to rememeber her birthday and my sweet daughter-in-law sat and listened as I told her story, she will also be 28 in December. I can hardly believe it's been 28 years, I can remember every detail as if it was yesterday, her cry her smell and the way her face felt like rose petals, and all the precious little curls on her head. And so far no artist has been able to recreate her hair, I didn't have but one picture of her and they had already shaved all her hair off to be able to put IV's there, and the nurse did her best to save her curls but put them between tape and when I went to open it up the hairs just stuck to it, the poor nurse trying to save those precious curls for me just cried and cried, saying how sorry she was, but she felt if she didn't save them like that and tape it to the incubator they would get lost, I told her I was just so glad that someone thought of me to save them, because all these years being able to put my nose to those tiny hairs has helped more than she will ever know :***)
