One of the mom's on my other message boards (due at the end of the month) went in for her dr's appt. and they couldn't find a heartbeat. :( I don't know her at all, never talked with her, but would like for some prayers to be sent up for her, her little girl, and her family. I know it's a long shot, but we're praying for a miracle..can't hurt can it?

thanks..no word yet on anyone's condition..she has a lot of prayers being said...I just want to let them know about NILMDTS..but don't want to seem like a downer..I'd hate for her to regret anything if in fact the baby is gone. (which I know is probably the case, but I can't help but hold out hope).

I ALWAYS mention NILMDTS if there is a chance anything could happen to another person's baby or if it has. I also put myself out there as willing to be a support person. I don't want any parent to ever feel as alone as I did. I would try and see if there is a way you could contact her. maybe someone has contact info for her and you can contact her that way. She's going to need a lot of love and support and we have all been there, so, who better? Just my .02!

I will be praying!!

Her beautiful baby girl was born yesterday..sleeping. I am more than heartbroken..even though I didn't know her face to face..I watched her "moms" thread and knew people in the thread. She was so sweet, and it's not fair..I know it's never fair. I directed her here, I didn't mention that I did contact an AC for NILMDTS to see if they were at all the hospitals there. I don't know if she got the service, but directed her here for support and healing..if it's possible. I don't know why it's hit me so hard.but it has..it's just been two days of loss with my friend's in real life's baby..and now this. I told her I would check in from time to time on her, especially the holidays...as she already had her outfits..:(

If I can help in any way, let me know. I hate not being able to do something when I hear about parents who have lost a child. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

I think that's what bothers me the most, I am technically not far from here (she's in DC) but not being able to do anything. I mean I know there are people here who's lost babies to cord accidents, and that seems so cruel to me. I mean you get past the m/c scares, the health problems, just to lose your so much wanted and loved baby to the thing that keeps it alive! It's just a cruel twist of fate, that I didn't really understand how cruel till now. I mean I saw her from just finding out till now, they posted belly pics, the nursery, the baby showers, etc. Now I just can't imagine her going home to a set up nursery with no baby...I didn't sleep last night and have been crying all morning. I don't know why her, and why now is doing this to me?

Mandi,
You and your friends will be in my prayers. We lost our Isabelle to a cord accident at almost 37 weeks, so if you want to pass her info to me in a PM, let me know. I enjoy (that's not the right word, but the best I can find!) talking to and helping moms who've lost the same way we did. Let me know.

I can't get the pm thing to work for some reason. you'd have to register at the message board and then pm me there and i'll send you her info on the site, as that's the only way I talk to her.

constantchatter.com (it's under all about family in the forums).

I'm MrsSpencer there also.

I'm so sorry to hear about her loss. We also lost our Isaiah a little over a week ago due to a cord accident (well actually a double one - he had the cord around his neck and there was a knot in it). I agree, it doesn't seem fair when they make it past the miscarriage stage, etc. and you think you're home free and then the one thing to sustain the baby inside of you is the one thing that ends his or her life. Part of me is relieved that it was a cord accident though as we had an early miscarriage early this year too so I am not blaming myself for the reason that Isaiah died (although I still do sometimes) but at the same time I hate the thought that it was a freak accident. If she ever wants anyone to talk to give her my name too as our babies were born sleeping close together so I'm sure we'll probably go through the rollercoaster of emotions together and it would be nice to know that I'm and she's not alone. I honestly don't know what I would do without all of the support I've found here on NILMDTS.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I hope she was able to get NILMDTS services, and if not, I hope to see her here on the site. I can't think of a more supportive place.

Hugs for her and her family. Tons of prayers also.

I always mention NILMDTS when ever I get the opportunity. I never got the chance to have a photographer when my daughter was born, so I want people to have the option if they want. Most recently a lady on a moms board I am part of found out her daughter was dx with anacephely. She decided to carry to term and I told her all about here and that there were ladies on here that have also decided to carry to term knowing the outcome. I do not know if she came here, but at least she has the option of the extra support and knowing she is not alone in her journey!

He's Here!!!

I just found out he was born July 22 4:30pm! He came out wailing (she said as she wailed with joy instead of sorrow). He is perfect and she is so blissfully happy again.

Thank you for the prayers for her.. I'll leave her words "God is so great-what a miracle"
