My little drama queen

When I got pregnant with this baby, I was sure it was a girl (just like I was sure Justin was a boy). So, when we kept having bleeding issues early in the pregnancy and she kept turning out to be just fine, we started calling her our drama queen.
We found out yesterday for sure (as sure as U/S gets) that she is in fact a she. I am very excited to have a little girl, which is surprising because I really wanted Justin to be a boy- I grew up with all brothers and have all nephews. But I know that a little girl will be a wonderful thing for us. I do still hope that God blesses us with another little boy or 2 but I am thankful that he made this one a little girl.
She is very active and the doctors said everything looks great. We are so thankful.

You give me such hope for the future. I am so ready to be pregnant again. I had my angel a little over 6 weeks ago, but am yearning for a baby in my arms. Thank you for giving me that hope!! You look so beautiful!!

Ooooh lovely! You look gorgeous and I am so happy everything is going well for you. we're going to wait a little while - going to stop being careful in January or so, to make sure the c section is totally healed. I've been healing so well physically - no problems at all, and my uterus is back to normal size-wise (which made my OB raise her eyebrows more than I've ever seen her do!), so we just need the time to even out emotionally a little more - put a little more space between. But hopefully sooner rather than later, we will be victorious and conceive again! :) *hugs hugs* XXX

Jayme, first let me say that you look absolutely beautiful! Secondly, CONGRATS on the girl!!!!!!!!!! When I first became pregnant with our first daughter, I wanted a boy so bad. The the "he" in my mind became a "she". After she was born, I wished for nothing more than a houseful of girls!!! I thought, "If I have all girls, I would be ecstatic!" Girls are so much fun - dainty little pretty babies, fun to buy clothes for, and when they start to get all that hair, it's so much fun to brush and comb.

Now I find myself having a boy after 2 girls (Priya and Kavya). First it struck me as funny - I laughed and laughed the whole day of the ultrasound every time I thought about it! But I'm very content. I think God sends us exactly what we are supposed to have at that time. You'll love her, and she has a wonderful big bro watching over her from above.
