Photo Albums

I am willing to create a special album for any family who would like their photos preserved in this form. I have been creating albums for many years and I would love to donate my time and talent in this way to help families who have lost their precious babies. Julie, would the families have to provide you with the memory albums?

No, I would not expect them to provide an album unless they already had one that they wanted to use. I would be responsible for any expense involved in creating an album.

Julie, I think that it is great that you're offering that service. Our baby, Marah, died two years ago and we had only about 8 photos. I just couldn't bring myself to put them in an album. A friend of a friend is a consultant for Creative Moments and offered to do the album. I was scared to give my photos to her and cried when I did. However, the album turned out great. She put a poem I had written about Marah in the front. She also added photos of me preganant, of Marah's shower, a few favorite cards from friends and the garden that we created for her. I am so grateful to have the album. I just couldn't find the strength to do it. I thought it would look odd with so few photos, but she knew just what to add and she did it in a creative way. It was really a kind act, from a stranger. (She had lost a baby a few years prior.)
I am now thinking of adding photos that we have done in Marah's memory, like WalkAmerica and a memorial garden at the cemetary in the infants section.
