This is a collage that I built for our dearest friend, Deb Stoner. Deb sent me numerous images to consider, and I hate to admit, this took me a good while to finish.
I created it on a bus as we went through the Virginia's on our wayto Toronto (I was chaperoning a H.S. Band to a competition). The decision on which images I was going to use was the toughest, and the easiest. I laid out all the images on my screen, and just studied over them for about 20 minutes. Would you believe I fell asleep and this concept came to me. When I woke up, I immediately selected these, and closed off everything else so that I wouldn't be tempted to use anything else. God was watching over me, because no sooner did I get the images decided on, and placed, then the battery on my computer decided to stop. The poem is one that was written by Marah's Mom, Deb. When I saw that, it was obvious that I HAD to use that!
