November 5th
Made it past October, and wondering what Chase would have looked like in his puppy costume I would have had him wear for Halloween. I imagine he would have looked so adorable. The "first" of many firsts with out Chase to come. A big part of me is dreading the holidays coming upon us. Only because there is an important part of our family missing.
Each year, we get all the kids together for holiday photos. I don't want to leave Chase out of it, even if he is not with us physically. I plan on buying a stuffed teddy bear. My sister suggested getting a little t-shirt to put on the bear with Chase's picture on it, and having that included in the photos with the other children.
It's going to be a difficult time, I'm preparing for it the best I can. Still, the heartache of not having him here for his first Thanksgiving, his first Christmas, his first everything.... it just hurts.
