new to nilmdts

hello my name is Gina Lara...i recently heard of nilmdts at Corpus Christi Driscoll hospital. My son Jordan was born at 30 weeks gestation. I had healthly twin pregnacy until a regular doctors visit when my son Matthew's heartbeat could not be found. I had my boys on December 17, 2008. Due to Matthew's death Jordan's body had been effected. The boys were identical twins and usually what happends to one twin happens to the other. Jordan was born with many complications and died on January 9, 2009. It has been so hard to get through the day and some days are better than others. I thank the organization for the service they provide and had this been available in my home town of Laredo I would have loved to have pictures of my son Matthew. :confused: :mad:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. This must be such an overwhelming time for you...taking care of a newborn and grieving for your other son at the same time. I haven't been in that exact situation, but I think it's important to take time for yourself. We're here for you whenever you need us.

I am so sorry for your losses. I know how difficult it is to lose two angels. I was pregnant with twin girls (identical) and the first passed within the first 6 weeks. Valerie- was born at 30 weeks, lived a week and then passed as well. The first baby girl made Valerie sick and we lost her.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your twin boys -- all of us here know how you feel in this loss, some even have lost twins. We're not happy about it, but we are here to share in the brokenness so you don't feel alone. You have been through so much, I hope now you have a chance to take care of yourself and also to "cement" the memories of your boys, i.e. make scrapbooks, write memories, perfect the photos you have.
