I received this from one of my Angel Moms. Wonderful article.

I just bought the magazine and read the article this morning. It brought tears to my eyes a few times...just thinking of the many people who have to experience such a loss. The article was very well written and the pictures are so beautiful! It's still surreal to think that pictures I have could have been in that same article. If I had read it a few years ago I would have probably cried for the people, but still believed that something like that could never happen to me. It's wonderful that people are finally taking the initiative to research possible causes of stillbirths and hopefully will learn how to decrease the risks in the future. Until then, NILMDTS will be working to maintain sanity for families who are faced with the painful task of saying "hello and goodbye" to their angels.

I sat next to a flight attendant on my flight to Portland yesterday and commented to him that the Newsweek he issue he had was in demand because some folks people associated with NILMDTS hadn't been able to find copies.

He knew instantly which article I was talking about, and we talked for quite a while about the work of the organization, and how deeply moved he had been both by the article and by the work we do.

I was unable to go out and get the article for obvious reasons...I did read the online version but wanted to get a copy; I'm going to have to see if I can order one from their website or something...

a co-worker brought me a copy of the article and I read it. It was great and it also brought tears to my eyes (a painful reminder of what I and so many other women and their husbands and familes have been through) . I hope this leads to more research on stillbirth so people can have more answers when something like this happens. NILMDTS is doing great things !!!!!
