Recent mother to an angel

My son, Dylan, was stillborn at full term. August 12, 2008 I delivered him, over six months ago now. I am finding more peace from this situation each day, although I still miss him so much. I have an empty feeling where his life should still be. It ended before he could live outside of my womb.

I had a complete, healthy pregnancy. That is the blessing for me, not knowing of any problems, no fears for our health. A week after losing him I discovered I carry a gene called Factor V Leiden, which may have caused a blood clot in the placenta, umbilical cord, or in his body.

I miss him, and think about what he would be like now. But he is just frozen in time as he was, and my memories from pregnancy. The photos are priceless, although not done through this organization. :(

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my son who was fullterm and it hurts so bad. To know you got them that far and had a good pregnancy and then nothing. My son was alive when he was born and was healthy then he just turned and died the next morning. Know we are here for you

I'm so sorry that Dylan is no longer with you. We all know well that the loss of a child is the most difficult thing we will ever face. My heart breaks for every new member on this forum, but my heart also opens in welcome to you. This is such a supportive place.
