For Layla

The saturday after sweet Layla was born my husband and I went and got tattoos. I just got her initals on my wrist facing me so that I could always read them and see them with a purple heart for her birthstone, and I am now convinced would be her fave color!

I also set up some shelves in our office with some of her things on them. There is a photo album my god mother got for her, the two boxes are the outfits the hospital gave and those were what her pictures were taken in, then a few of her toys, a remeberence angel, a name thing I bought her at a craft fair over christmas for her room, and a "princess of quite a lot" wall hanging.

Here is also a picture of her grave, we went out and put up easter decorations. And her flower hook has a little bucket I made and put on it "Daddy's Girl" with stickers.

I love the tatoo. So sweet! I am still planning on getting one, just can't make up my mind.

Ya I know how that is. We are having a little angel put on the back of her headstone and that is what my husband got on his chest with Layla above it and her birthdate below it. I wanted that too but wanted something I could see everyday and the angel would be to big for that on my wrist. Ive seen ones where people get the hand or footprints of the baby. I think that is really sweet.

i got a portrait tattoo of marcus on my calve my husband wants the same one on his arm and so does my mom. I love urs its so cute. i love her gravesite also how u decorated it.

I saw your tattoo...it was amazing! It looks just like your handsome boy, they did a fantastic job! Thanks for the compliments on the decorations, she hasn't seen anything yet. :) Im going to decorate for every holiday and do some more once we get her headstone in.
