Memorial Day 2006~ In Loving Memory of Baby Chase

Memorial day had a very different and new meaning for me this year and will for the rest of my life. We had a balloon release in memory of Chase. But it was not only Chase who was in my thoughts that day, NILMDTS was also in my thoughts. My heart was filled, thinking of all the families and babies who have joined our family too.
I hope and pray you are all doing alright, and know I think of you often.

My daughter Natalie (6), every time we go to a restaurant that hands out balloons, she ALWAYS writes a note to Maddux on it, and then releases it when we leave.

She touched her left cheek and said Maddux kissed her right there and thanked her for the balloon. She said Daniel gave her a big hug around her waist. She just had this amazed look in her eyes. I am such a believer...:)

You see, Children respond with their hearts. Adults respond with their intellect. I'll take a Heart anyday!
