Almost There

Hello all, just wanted to give an update of how things are going. I am almost 32 weeks and for the most part got here with no problems! I go to the doc on the 18th and I will have an ultrasound to measure the babies and at that point we will discuss when the babies will come (if they don't decide to come on their own before then) My goal is to make it to July 15, only 37 days from today. My doc said we could have them on July 15 if I make it that far because that will put me at 37 weeks. I just can't believe I'm this far along, it really has went by so fast! I still pray each day that God is going to bless us with 2 healthy happy babies. All appears to be great and we are just excited about the arrival of our little babies!
Here are some updated pictures of my big belly. I"m soooooo tired of people having something to say about my belly, oh my, you look like you are ready to explode, or hey fat lady (my husband calls me fat lady but he can, it's all love from him, he loves how I look!) I have 2 babies in there, it really is not that big. I have gained less than 10 lbs, I'm all baby!

You look so cute! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for those little babies to stay inside for 5 more weeks! I know how uncomfertable it is, well kinda, Layla stopped swallowing the fluid so by the end of my pregnancy my belly measured 44 cm from top to bottom, they say thats pretty much full term for twins. But I only had one in there...get as much rest as possible and Ill talk to Layla so she can whisper to your babies to stay inside as long as possible for you! Take care of yourself! *hugs*

so I'm back with more pictures, I'm trying to do a picture once a week. Someone laughed at me today and said look at those skinny legs. I've had sooo many people tell me I'm huge, most people see me in scrubs each day. It made me feel happy to hear skinny come out of someones mouth! I know my belly is big but there is two babies in there but I still think I look good for 32 weeks with twins. Hey Beth if you see this just wanted to let you know my belly is not out to my knees, well not yet anyways!! My lap is getting smaller but still have a ways to go to get to my knees. Sometime I will take a picture of me sitting down so you can see.

I think you look great. I don't think it even looks like you have two babies in there, your not that big. I was expecting bigger!! Hang in there and enjoy these last weeks with your babies in your tummy. I miss being pregnant!!! Enjoy some of those kicks and punches for me please. Good luck

My doctor put me down to 4 hours a day at work now. Two nights ago I had some good labor pains but managed to fall asleep and all was well when I woke up. It's hard to be at work for 8 hours a day because I'm on my feet a lot and always on the move. I was having to many contractions while at work so we are trying to lessen my hours in hopes to keep them in my tummy for at least 3 more weeks. I'm still hoping for July 15 but I laugh at myself when I say that, like I can control it!!

I can't believe they are almost here. I remember being 7 weeks and feeling so scared. I still have my moments of fear but my excitement is taking over!!! I go to the doc on Thursday to have a ultrasound, I can't wait!!

I'm really excited for you!! My due date is July 16th. Maybe we'll have our babies around the same time. :) You look fabulous!! You've inspired me to post some pics since I'm getting so close too. I'll try to do that soon. Good luck over the next few weeks!!

I went to the doctor today for another ultrasound to check on the sizes of the babies. I'm so happy to report that both babies are head down, I'm so relieved because I don't want to have a csection! So hopefully they both stay that way. Both of them are around 5.5lbs, hard to believe I have 11lbs of baby in my belly, no wonder it's so big. I'm going to try to work for the next 2 weeks then I will be done whether or not the babies come. I'm only working 4 hour days but even that is hard some times. We are still hoping for July 15 but I really doubt I will make it that far, it felt like the babies were making their way out today, two heads, on my one bladder! So Sandi we will be close to each other no matter what. And you should share pictures, it's always fun to see them!!
My husband told me last night he wishes the babies could be here now, it's so nice to see him so excited for his babies to get here!

I am so happy to hear your updates! I don't post much on here anymore....long story.....but know that I am thinking and praying for you every day! I think of all my family here every day-love you all!
We need to start a new thread to guess delivery date, time and weight for both you and Sandi.....how fun it will be.
