I had to share with everyone the bear I had made from one of Maddux's blankets. He never was able to use this, but it was one of my favorites and I couldn't get rid of it. My daughter Natalie LOVES this little bear. He is soft, and his arms, legs and head are moveable and pose able. I have listed Tammy's information below.

Treasure Bears are heirloom teddy bears made from special articles of clothing or fabric that hold a special place in your heart. It could be your baby's blanket, sleeper or your favorite maternity clothing. Your heart won’t let you part with it, but being stored away doesn’t help either. These are just the keepsakes that make beautiful, loving, treasured teddy bears. Tammy will donate $10.00 or 10% of every bear purchased through NILMDTS. Please be sure to mention Now I lay me down to sleep when ordering.

Cheryl,
That is so beautiful. I am totally obsessed with getting things that remind of Cydney Paige. As I was reading and looking at the teddy bear I am already getting many ideas. I have a favourite maternity shirt, of course I am still hoping for a miracle that I could have another baby, I also made crib sheets for Cydney , I have so many ideas, I think that I would soon run out of space, or get my husband worried about me, but doing these things makes me feel close to her and good.

When Anna died...I wanted something that I could have with me....I found an Angel pendent (on accident..it was on clearance at Target) and a little girl pendant where her body is in the shape of a dress and is her birthstone. But I guess that wasn't enough for me...I also made a bracelet out of the Italian Charms that spelled out Anna Grace....and I added my own personal 'mommy' charms to it....I wear it EVERYWHERE EVERYDAY....my neighbor made a collage out of Anna's memorial service program, memorial card and a picture we have of her. At first it was very hard to look at but now we proudly have it hanging in our living room.

Cheryl,

I love Maddux's bear! Thank you so much for making this site. I lost my little boy a few weeks ago and have been at a loss as to what to do with his ashes. When I saw your son's bear, I knew that is what I wanted to do. I've sent off an email to Tammy yesterday, but haven't yet heard back from her. What does it say on the foot pad and the blanket?

Sincerely,

Bronwyn Shields

Oh, I love it so much! Is the entire bear made out of Maddux's blanket?

It says Barefoot Dreams. I believe it is the trademark...
And yes, the blanket was two sided- baby blue silky and creamy cotton...

Cheryl,

That is a beautiful bear and is beautifully photographed.

Does anyone know how much the standard bears and dogs cost? I couldn't find any pricing information on the webpage....

Never mind, I found it. WOW! If we were doing a custom bear, I wouldn't mind paying that much. But we can't afford that much just to have a toy bear or dog for our daughter.
