Shyanne was a term baby but the size of a Premee.I didnt not get told about the services of NILMDTS so we took alot of our own pics.Here are a few that we took. Shyanne lived for 8.5 hrs and passed in my arms. her weight was 4 lbs 4 oz and was 17 inches in length.she was delivered at 39 wks. She would have been on a vent her whole life.she was paralized from neck down.only moved her eyes. never kicked in pregnancy

She's so cute. I'm so sorry for both of your losses. I can't imagine have to go through two losses of such precious little girls. One was bad enough for me. Thanks for sharing some pictures. Piper was also a term baby the size of a premee. she was 39 wks 4 days and only weighted 3lbs 6 oz and was 15 inches. Piper had a hole in the esophaguse so could not be vented. she also had no knee joint her hips were hyper flexed so in the pic you can see how her legs are.she would have had to have surgery after surgery to repair them. I am still waiting for my pics that the photographer took. Lisa was great she spoke to Piper as if she was still with us.GOD Bless her for everything

They are both so precious! You can tell they are sisters for sure....just equally beautiful. I am so sorry you had to lose them! My Layla had her legs like Piper's and she had a short spinal cord so they aren't sure if she ever moved her legs or not. Her cerebellum was under developed which caused her lungs not to develop even close to fully. I always joked that she was our little yoga baby.

Thank you so much for sharing them with us. You can tell Shyanne and Piper are so loved and missed dearly. I can't wait to see the NILMDTS photos of Piper....they are going to be amazing. Take care of yourself hun. *hugs*

you know I do recall reading the fetal mri report and it said something about where the spinal cord ended and it seemed rather short to me as well.I wonder if that was the problem.Never thought about that.

When we got the autopsy done they didnt mention anything by the name of what your girls had but they said that it could be Pena-Shokeir. We havent looked much more into yet....still debating on whether or not to go see a geneticist. Layla was only 4 lbs 5 oz but she was 4 weeks early so her growth on everything but her cerebellum and lungs seemed to be right on track for her age.
