I had gone in for a regular appt, not scheduled for an u/s that particular day. I could hear all of the giggling coming from the nurses and my nurse finally came in and my curiousity had peaked and I asked about it. Anyway, the nurses were 'playing' with a 'borrowed' 3-D machine to decide if the doctor's wanted to buy one. She jumped to ask me if I wanted to have one done for FREE! They weren't allowed to openly offer it to anyone because it wouldn't be an 'official' test, but if someone asked about it, then they could offer. Well, I had been the only one that had been interested. So I got a round of free 3-D u/s pictures of my awesome baby girl. I know that it seems odd that I haven't been able to bring myself to post her delivery pictures on her, but I will. I trust you all. But right now for me, I think that part of it, making her teeny baby parts, teeny toes, ears and all, it is still so new, so fresh and SO overwhelming for me. That other than Chris, I want to keep it private still. I am still working on the 3 folded announcement/rememberance for Baby Jennifer. I feel like those won't be done or ready to go out until after she has finally been layed to rest and they will say something about that as well. I'm still considering whether or not to add a picture of Chris & I when we had maternity pics done, when we were really happy. I really want people to KNOW that even in the chaos of an unplanned, unwed pregnancy, that there was more times that we were happy about where we were, then bad times. I know that will be posted as soon as I get it done. I need to contact Christine for her kind offer to help.
In the meantime, if you look closely you can see a couple of things on her 3-D u/s pics, you can see that her little check is smushed from the doppler thing and you can see her sucking on the front of her fingers, her hair hanging down in her face and her dimples and all. Chris and I joked that about the only thing that you couldn't tell is her eye color, lol.

Remember that this were done by techs that were not trained, I was their guinea pig of sorts. They actually offered me a chance to go back in again the next week so that they could practice some more. lol. Now, I wish I had gone back in again.
