Hi All-
I haven't been posting much lately, but some of you may remember me... I lost my daughter, Isabella, on 4/1/08 at 23 weeks gestation and this website (and you all) were so helpful to me during my darkest days. Since then I have helped to start a charitable organization with 3 other mamas of angel babies in my area. We did a fundraiser in Feb and raised over $6500 for our local hospital's Child Remembered Program, which provides support and services to families that have lost a baby during pregnancy. We're now starting the planning for our 2nd annual fundraiser, which will be Feb 27 of 2010. We have a website: www.angelkisses.org (http://www.angelkisses.org), which is a work in progress. Our short-term goal for 2010 is to raise double the amount that we did in 2009 and possibly fund a bereavement room at the hospital, but we also want to help people outside of our local area by creating a website that offers resources to other people who have experienced a simillar loss. We want to provide links to chat boards, blogs, websites, books, etc. Basically, anything that helped/helps you to get through. Please check out our website when you have a moment, and if you would please share your resources with us, we would really appreciate it. We'd like to get the resource links page up within the next few months.
Thanks and I hope this finds you all doing well.
