Pray for my Dad

He used to live in WV, but now his place there is used as a Get-Away place.

He was there this past weekend with my brother, nephew and 3 other guys.
They were all out on the 4 wheelers. Dad's flipped and he broke the Tib and Fib in his left leg. The ER Dr said it looks like he may need surgery.
My step-mom, my daughter and I had to go to WV (Sunday) to get him and drive the truck back home (Monday). (10 1/2 hours each way.)

He is at the Orthopedic Dr as I type this. I will update as soon as I hear from him...whether he needs surgery or not.

Praying for a quick recovery!

The verdict is in.
The Orthopedic took a few more x-rays. He has more fractures in the leg than the origianls x-rays show.
He is scheduled for surgery next Thursday. The Dr said he needs a rod and other hardware put in his leg, but not sure if he can do the rod due to the location of one of the fractures near his ankle.
Dad is 68 yrs young.

Another update:

Because of his age, he had to go to his Dr today for Cardiac Clearance.
The EKG showed some changes for his last one, so now he has to do a stress test...possibly Monday, during his other Pre-Op tests.
