Here are some of my ideas...
Light a candle.
Donate a book related to grief/healing to Faiths Lodge in memory of your baby.
Donate locally to an outreach program for unwed teen mothers.
We all carve pumpkins in my family - me, Reju, Priya...
Last year Halloween fell less than a month after I found out about Kavya's diagnosis. We got a tiny little pumpkin and carved it for her. Since it was so small, we just put a little heart in it. It made me smile when I saw it - I'll do the same again this year.

Through Acts of Grace we are doing "extra special" food treats for BINGO this month: nacho bar, baked potato bar, fresh veggie, fruit, cheese trays. Normally we have volunteers provide bars, cookies, brownies.
Our local twin club (MOMS) is also having a tribute October 14th at their monthly meeting.

Donate little blankets to the hospitals for these special babies.
Donate rememberance items to the hospital--foot and hand casting kits.
If you are gifted in the area of knitting/crocheting, make little bonnets/hats for the babes.
Every year on my angels birth date/angel date I donate items to the hospital for their babies. I have also placed a candle holder with one of those battery candles in it along with a small tent card with a message in the hospital chapel and our area churches. The text on the card changes for me every year. For October it could be a message about Infant and Pregnancy Loss awareness and support.
I also go to the cemetary in October and place small angels on each baby's site that is placed there. I no longer live where my angel is placed to rest so I do this at a location close to me.

Cheryl,
I posted in another thread about the walk I am attending this Sat. I wanted to share the poem I am reading...I hope it's ok to post it here! You can move it if you would like
I Walk For You by Shirley Coleman Andree
Dear precious little baby,
I walk for you today,
To share you with everyone,
In this, my special way.
Oh, how I wish you were here,
To come and tag along.
For little one, if you were here,
The miles wouldn't seem so long
I know that you would love to see,
The many colored balloons,
And you would love to listen to,
The lullabies I'd croon.
You'd love to see the leaves that fall,
Red, yellow, gold and brown,
You'd roll and toss in them,
You'd laugh and jump around.
It's such a lovely time of year,
I wish you could have stayed.
I waited oh, so long for you,
So many plans I made.
I still try to understand,
Why you couldn't stay
But I just know we'll meet again,
Some happy, happy day.
For God had other plans, you know,
He wanted you to be,
His very special baby...
And He's keeping you for me.
I know that you are happy,
Up in Heaven's lovely land,
And someday we will meet again,
Together walk hand in hand.
Throughout each season,
Winter, spring, summer and fall,
Dear baby, I still think of you,
Each day your love I recall.
I had you such a little while,
But in my heart you'll always stay.
So, as I take this walk
I want the whole world to know,
This is your special day.
Look down from heaven precious baby...
I take this walk for you today.
